Hosted by the Ministry of Education(교육부), and organized by the Korea Research Foundation(연구재단) and the Korea Youth Entrepreneurship Foundation(한국청년기업가정신재단), <2023 Promising Student Start-up Team 300> is Korea’s biggest student start-up competition to discover and foster promising student start-up teams. It is held to promote entrepreneurship among students with innovative ideas and skills and to spread the start-up culture. And we are looking forward to your participation.   the Value-UP Track is for International Students who have the potential to start a business in Korea and wish to enter the ministry-integrated competition(K-스타트업 왕중왕전 본선).   After screening documents and presentations, 10 final selection teams receive training to strengthen their presentation skills, and after a separate selection process, the final 5 teams are allowed to advance to the combined finals.   Overview ■ Objective Enhance the entrepreneurship of innovative international students and promote a start-up culture and make them in globe.   ■ Main Contents Including Presentation Competency Training and education , various events will be held to spread student start-up cultures, such as Networking Day(학생창업 페스티벌) for Promising Start-up Teams, Online Mock Investment Competition(산학협력 EXPO), and a preliminary student league of the “Challenge K 2023”, the entrepreneurship competition, hosted by integrated ministries.   Recruitment Overview ■ Application deadline - May 3, 2023 (Wed) ■ Eligible participants - International student startup teams with potential for ‘K-Startup 2023’(도전! K-스타트업 2023)’ ■ Selection scale - 10 teams ※ the team must consist of 3 to 5 people including the team representative   Teams who applied for the Value-UP Track first, but dropped out, can re-apply for the Grow-UP Track(Students). If the team passed the Value-UP Track document screening, they will be given an exemption from document screening when re-applying for the Growth Track.   Benefits ■ Opportunity to advance to the integrated finals (5 teams) ※ <2022 Promising Student Start-up Team 300 Value-UP Track> also serves as a preliminary league for Challenge K 2023, which provides about 1.5 billion won in prize money and 20 ministerial awards. ■ Opportunities to connect with various startup support programs and participate in several training and networking day ■ 1:1 pitch class & mentoring program ■ A prize of 500,000 KRW for the top team of the mock investment competition ■ Certificate (signed by the Minister of Education)
