■ About us:

AECF Youth Council is the affiliated body of the AECF foundation. We plan and organize diverse annual programs relevant to the Asian economy and political issues, such as YEP and MAU. YC is aiming to cultivate youth experts by discussing agendas regarding Asian Community Integration and developments with young adults worldwide.

■ Who are eligible

1. Any foreign-nationality university students studying and residing in Korea

2. Any Korean students who are studying in Korean university

3. Those who have a great command of the English language

(must be able to write a personal analysis on the current economic affair of your local community)

​

■ Preferred Qualities

- Those who are interested in Asia’s diplomacy, politics, and economic issues

- Those who are competent in communicating online

- Those who are competent in utilizing social media (Instagram, Blog, Youtube, etc.)

Recruitment Schedule and Date: 2024 June 07 ~ June 14 (~23:59 KST)

Active Period: 2024 June ~ November

- Opening Ceremony: June 18 (Using Zoom)

- YEP (July 31, August 3, 10, 17)

- MAU (Scheduled to be held on November)

*All procedures for the activities will be conducted in ENGLISH.

■ Activity Curriculum

1. Share promotional contents on YEP and MAU on social media or to affiliated university/community platforms

2. Share AECF YC’s contents on YC SNS regarding Asia’s economy, with a personal analysis on the economy of participant’s home country included

3. Write a short essay regarding YEP & MAU agendas and topics applied in their home country’s socio-economic circumstances, after participating in the program

- Application Submission: ~ June 14 23:59 KST

- No interview schedule *

- Announcement of results: June 17 (notified individually)

​- Opening Ceremony: June 18 (Using Zoom)

■ Benefits

- Activity allowance will be provided (if required activities are all completed).

- A certificate of participation under the name of the AECF foundation is awarded upon completion of the program.

- Outstanding contributions to be included in the YEP journal.
