A mentoring program on localization of Korean content into English, Chinese, and Japanese

Rabbit Plane is searching for talent. 

Are you someone who:

• Loses it when you see subtitles that deviate far from the creative intent?

• Questions the subtitler’s experience when you see work lacking industry-specific knowledge?

• Has found variety programs helpful in weathering the storms of your life?

• Gets incredibly excited at the mention of localizing Korean variety content?

• Has language skills but never got a chance to develop it through professional training? 

Rabbit Plane is an 8-week mentoring program where you gain localization experience from professionals working in the field. Round 3 of this program kicks off on March, 2025. The previous two rounds involved localizing Korean web novel content and K-pop song lyrics. This round will focus on Korean variety program content. 

Participating mentees will be placed in groups of four and will collaborate closely with one another in generating work to be submitted on a weekly basis. Each mentee will perform a specific task assigned to them, and the group’s submitted work will receive detailed editing and feedback from mentors who are experts in the field. On or offline teatime group discussions where you can discuss your career concerns and industry issues will also be provided.
