나만의 정체성, 소중한 가치관, 문화적 뿌리, 사람들과의 관계, 꿈과 희망, 사회 문제에 대한 생각 등 진심이 담긴 여러분만의 이야기를 창의적으로 보여주세요.

“What matters to me…”

We invite you to express that which truly holds meaning in your lives. Whether it’s personal values, cultural roots, relationships, dreams, or social issues, create authentically and leave your mark.

■ 주제 분야

-     나의 정체성: 내가 자란 환경, 가족의 뿌리, 특별한 경험들이 지금의 나를 어떻게 만들었고, 내 작품에 어떤 영향을 주었는지 표현해보세요.

-     마음 속 이야기: 사랑하는 사람들, 소중한 친구들, 가족과의 시간, 또는 내가 겪은 힘든 순간들을 작품으로 담아내보세요.

-     다양한 문화 경험: 우리나라에서든 외국에서든, 내가 경험한 문화가 나의 생각과 예술 세계를 어떻게 바꾸어 놓았는지 보여주세요.

-     세상을 바라보는 시선: 환경 문제, 공정한 세상, 평등한 사회 등 내가 관심 있는 사회 문제나 내가 꿈꾸는 세상의 모습을 작품으로 표현해보세요.

-     내가 그리는 미래: 앞으로 이루고 싶은 꿈과 희망을 담아, 미래의 나와 내 작품, 그리고 세상 속에서 내가 있고 싶은 자리를 그려보세요.

■ 공모 분야

예술 작품 부문: 아래 분야 중 원하는 분야를 선택하여 작품을 만들어주세요. 완성된 작품에는 작품 소개글(150단어 내외)을 함께 제출해주시면 됩니다.

-     드로잉 & 페인팅

-     3D 아트 (도자기 포함)

-     그래픽 디자인

-     패션 및 의상 디자인

-     5분 단편 영화

글쓰기 작품 부문: 아래 분야 중 하나를 선택하여 영문으로 작품을 제출해주세요. 완성된 작품의 줄거리와 메시지를 요약한 글(250단어 내외)을 함께 첨부해주시기 바랍니다.

-         시나리오 (3,000단어 이내)

-         희곡 (3,000단어 이내)

-         단편소설 (2,500단어 이내)

-         개인적 에세이 (800단어 이내)

■ 지원 자격 및 참가비
지원 자격: 국내외 고등학생까지 누구나

참가 부분:
- 주니어부: 만 14세 이하 한국 국적 학생  
- 시니어부: 만 15세~19세 한국 국적 학생  

참가비: 작품 1점당 €150  
※ 참가비는 환불되지 않으며, 납부하신다고 해서 수상이 보장되는 것은 아닙니다.

접수 기간: 2025년 8월 1일 ~ 8월 31일 까지
심사 기간: 2025년 9월 1일 ~ 2025년 9월 30일
발표: 2025년 10월 1일

대상 수상자에게는 VNV 소속 해외 유명 작가들과의 특별한 멘토링 기회를 드립니다.

모든 수상자의 작품을 담은 'YouthCanvas 수상작품집'을 제작하여, 국내외 주요 미술관과 문화기관에 배포됩니다.

**온라인 작품 전시관
모든 수상작품은 VNV 공식 홈페이지 전시관에  전시됩니다.

■ Categories

1. ART-BASED ENTRIES
Art-based entries must fall under any of the following categories:
>Drawing & Painting
>3D Art (including Ceramics)
>Graphic Design
>Fashion & Costume Design
>5-min Film

Each entry must include an artwork description (150 words) that considers the following:
>What inspired your piece?
>How does it relate to the contest brief?
>Describe your material choices and your creative practice.
>What message(s) do you hope to deliver to your audience?

2. WRITING-BASED ENTRIES
>Writing-based entries must fall under any of the following categories:
>Screenwriting (3000 words or less)
>Playwriting (3000 words or less)
>Short Stories (2500 words or less)
>Narrative Essays (800 words or less)

**Each entry must include a summary of the text (250 words)

■ Eligibility

Students from middle school to high school, both domestic and international

>Categories
- Tier I: A student with Korean nationality who is under the age of 14  
- Tier II: A student with Korean nationality who is between the ages of 15 and 19  

■ Entry Fee
Each submission to the YouthCanvas Contest requires a non-refundable entry fee of €150 (one hundred fifty Euros). Payment of the entry fee does not guarantee selection as a winner, finalist, or recipient of any prize.

Winners will be featured in the prestigious YouthCanvas Winners’ Catalog. Distributed to major art and cultural institutions in Korea and around the world, a spot in our catalog serves as a unique networking opportunity and means of professional development.

**Winners’ Showcase
Winners will be permanently featured in exhibition format on the VNV website.
