📑 International Youth Center – Mentoring Program for International Students (Mentee Recruitment) 📑

🌏 The International Youth Center (ICY) is an international NGO working to create a world where the things we do not choose are respected — a value we call “Love the Difference.”

To support international students in Korea, the International Youth Center is launching a Mentoring Program, and we are recruiting mentees to join.

📖 Program Overview 📖

• Objective:
  To help international students overcome challenges related to life in Korea through mentor–mentee activities.

• Format:
  1:1 or M:M group matching between Korean mentors and international student mentees
  (Activity topics and curriculum can be freely decided through mentor–mentee discussion.)

• Schedule:
  Determined individually after mentor–mentee matching.

👥 Eligibility 👥

We welcome applicants who:

• Are willing to actively participate and engage responsibly in the program.

• Are interested in communicating and building friendships with Korean and international students.

• Have an interest in international exchange or NGO activities.

📚 Program Schedule 📚

• Dec 8 – Jan 16: Recruitment of international students & volunteers

• Jan 17: Matching results announcement

• Jan 18: Online orientation

• Jan 19 – Mar 29: 10-week mentoring program

☑️ Completion Requirements ☑️

• Participation in at least 80% of the program (8 weeks or more)

• Recommended: At least 1 hour of in-person activity per week

• Two accumulated warnings (e.g., poor participation, failure to submit reports) will result in ineligibility for completion.
